We are looking for a technical Senior Product Manager with a strong background in eCommerce to supercharge our existing online checkout process (across marketing website, web application and mobile sales channels) and deliver (and continually evolve) the most effective purchasing experience of our product from both SMBs and Bookkeepers/Accountants. You will be supported with a cross-functional team to develop the user experience, continually optimising the channel. This is an extremely visible role and provides the opportunity to will work with the Head of Pricing to understand and execute Receipt Bank’s regional pricing strategies.
The role - what you’ll do:
Creating the framework to maximise the adoption of our product by any user, by optimising the collection of all payments and reducing checkout friction and drop off that occurs as users convert from Free Trial to Paying users.
Working closely with the Director of Adoption to review, plot and assess the conversion funnel, responsible for the conversion of visitors into paying users
Own the entire online payment journey·
Create and monitor the production of automated reporting into user flow, conversion and payment metrics, split for the user journey and office location
Work with the Head of Digital to understand the entire flows of new user acquisition, from all social media platforms and marketing efforts
Implement the delivery of Proposition, Pricing & Product features - as outlined by the Head of Pricing - across our existing and future online product range to ensure consistency with the offline purchase cycle
Be a key voice in the identification of conflicts in our pricing structure, when considering different regional pricing strategies and set ups
Work with the global sales teams to understand organic user acquisition
Define, build and maintain the correct online purchasing experience to ensure that Receipt Bank consistently optimises and converts interested and engaged users into paying subscribers
Reviews, assesses and develops the operational capability to work with the best mix of digital payment technology providers across all checkout channels to ensure we never miss the opportunity to take a payment
Have a strong voice within the Receipt Bank Pricing and Promotion Council meeting, to guide decisions and implement strategies.
Work very closely with Engineering, Design, and Research to build, maintain and improve all operational payment capabilities
Be continually aware of current and future payment regulations and help implement any required changes, alongside other stakeholders. Such as Strong Customer Authentication.
Ensure purchasing strategy is communicated (regularly & widely) both internally & externally to highlight link to overall business OKRs
Define market, competitor & customer research needs and execute research strategies to ensure the Adoption team (and wider company) are aware of changes in the payment landscape
Act as coach and monitor throughout organisation to achieve Pricing and Purchasing Excellence
About you - what we are looking for:
Experience in eCommerce and building, optimising and running online checkout programmes
Awareness and familiarity of 3rd party payment providers
Evaluating production costs to develop pricing strategies
Experience of working with Engineering/Development resources
Understanding of finance or accounting principles
Strong leadership and project management capabilities
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, mathematical and analytical skills
