Receipt Bank is on the hunt for a Finance Manager to support the EMEA Financial Controller building a robust financial reporting and controls environment across all group entities. The new Financial Accountant will own the monthly accounting cycle for a subset of RB entities and help develop the financial control processes and capabilities of the team.
The role - what you’ll do:
Take responsibility for accounting and control processes across a subset of Receipt Bank entities, ensuring an efficient delivery of the monthly P&L and that all compliance deadlines are met
Support the EMEA Financial Controller and wider team in delivering a system implementation and automation project
Ensure the finance teams stays up to date with UK GAAP and other reporting standards
Build, roll out and maintain a global accounting policy manual
Support cash flow forecasting by periodically collating 4-week and 13-week consolidated cash flow forecasts
Work with EMEA Financial Controller, Group FC and Finance Systems Manager to build a robust and scalable Inter-company accounting process, leveraging off Netsuite’s capabilities
About you - what we are looking for:
A strong accountant with a background in building and maintaining robust financial controls and processes
A recognised accounting qualification - this role would suit a newly qualified ACA looking to make their first move out of an audit environment
Excellent financial systems skills - NetSuite would be a distinct advantage but advanced Excel is a must
A passion for working across the business on multiple commercial projects, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
A strong academic background with a Bachelors degree from a recognised University being a minimum expectation
